I need some 63s......but i also need to know about the shackles.....ive been on the pirate board and searched it plenty but by the time you read half the bullshit, im more confused then when i started.

how long do i need my shackles eye to eye if i only want 3-4 inches?

or do i have to remove the overload or a leaf?

i just want to know what combo of shit i need to get 3-4 inches.

im not SASing later so i dont want to look like i tubbed the rear end.

Definitely pull the overload leaf.

The rule of thumb I've heard on shackles is that you normally receive in lift half of what the you build into the shackle's length, such that a 6" eye to eye shackle yields 3" of lift.
