It's a 86 22tre. Some places have gears for both and some only have a general 8".
As long as it says 4cyl 8" your fine. If you have IFS then you'll need 4cyl 7.5". what are you regearing it too?

I can't find 5.16's or whatever I read about so I'm goin with 5.29's. Probably Yukon. I wish I could find some closer to 5.16's though.

What makes you want 5.16? Your choices in Toyota gears are 4.10, 4.30, 4.56, 4.88, 5.29, and 5.71 - that's it (well, there are some higher ratios, but those don't matter for this discussion)

FOR PRETACOS:
I'm assuming you have a manual tranny and need good onroad drivability:
4.56 = 31's
4.88 = 33's
5.29 = 35's
5.71 = >35's

If you have an auto, you need to step down 2 gear ratios to be able to hold the overdrive:
5.29 = 31's
5.71 = 33's
fugheddaboutit = 35's and bigger

Tacos can take 1 gear ratio higher than the manual chart above, especially V6's (4.88 for 35's for example)

Well I found a chart that has all the gear ratio to tire sizes and it said 5.13 or 5.16 was the closest to stock and I've heard people say 5.29 is too much for 35's and 4.88 I think are not enough. I do have a manual tranny and I think my turbo would make up for any loss(between 5.16 and 5.29). But like you said it's not an option. So 5.29's it is.:)
