I bought a 92 std cab for my wife to drive in the winter. We picked it up for $2000 with 130,000 on it. plain janer basically, heat, am-fm, 5-speed, and factory maunal hubs! Buying it I knew it would need some good work put into it. The bed has some minor rust spots and drives pretty down solid going down the road. One problem I have noticed it is the surging on cold idle start up. The rpms with go up and down with about 1500 rpm differance. Once it is warm idles completely good. It starts completely fine in cold weather here in Wisconsin. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great,

Thanks, Dan

it might be your TPS (throttle position sensor)

The only other thing to check would be the COld Start Injector Use an Ohmmeter check the continuity of both terminals, resistance should be between 2-4 ohms

The injector could be clogged too though. you need a SST pn 09842-30050 (which allows you to connect the fuel injector to a battery to monitor the spray
