Make yourself an "altnernator skid" with some cut up pieces of crazy carpet. There are higher output alternators out there, but none that are more weather proof for our application.

That little piece of plastic you ride down a snow covered hill if your parents couldn't afford a GT snow racer for Christmas in '87...

Use a milk jug instead.

Guys, this is quite a good alternator at a great price as compared to others out there. As far as I know, Mr. Alternator, Mean Green, Alterstart, Dave's Electric all buy shelf parts to build there alternators. Dominic designs fresh alternaters from all brand new parts. Power Master, HO Alternator, Ohio Alternator, and Power Max all have similar quality alternators, but at much higher prices ($500+). Most other alternators do not come close to the ilde amperage of Dominics! Other boards such as ForumSoundDomain.com have sung praises of Dominics quality and customer service.

NisAznMonk has had the 220 amp alternator for almost 2 years with no problems and recieved a lifetime warranty.

If you have ANY questions, call 615-287-7991 ask for Dominick. His email is [email protected]. But its best to call him; super cool guy and really knows is stuff.
