I have a new to me 2001 Tacoma (xtnd, 4x4 v6, supercharged, 49K).
The A/C runs cool, but not cold.
What can I check on my own?

Any A/C shops in the Denver or Summit County area people recommend?

Search didn't yield much, but if anyone has links they think would help it would be appreciated.

Since it is blowing cool but not cold it probably just needs some refigerant added. You can buy the cans at the auto parts store with a gauge that attaches to them and try it yourself. It might have a small leak but maybe not enough to worry about. Just try recharging it and see how long it lasts.
Here is a picture of one of the systems, I have not tried this one since we have the gauges at work that I can use but it should be fairly easy. Just attach it to the low pressure hose, I don't think you will be able to attach it incorrect since the fittings are different sizes, there should be instructions with the kit.
