I was lookin at a truck to buy and it doesnt have ac in it. Is there a way to put ac into it and make it look stock. Also, how much do you think that would cost if its possible?
Almost all late model vehicles have the space and trim to accomodate AC, when they don't include it. It's not a particularly difficult thing to add, as far as mods go.
But there are 2 catches. Even if you install it, you have to take it to somebody to leak check and charge the system. And if you use all new parts, it could easily break $1500 when you're all said and done.
Ok thats not what i was hoping to hear lol. I wanted to hear only about a couple hundred. Sounds like it would be cheaper to just find a truck a bit more expensive with AC in it already.
You may still want to look around at prices. That is the price for a new AC system for a Tacoma from the factory. Aftermarket, reconditioned, or plain used parts may be significantly cheaper.
