Hi,

I bought some American Racing Outlaw II's a while back and had to buy lugs seperately. I was sold the typical acorn lugs.

One of my front wheel studs broke while driving (I always torque to 100 ft lbs and use anti-seize compound) and this has me a little worried.

I just wanted to be sure that I'm not supposed to use the acorn bulge type lugs on these wheels. I tried to determine this from americanracing.com but no info there.

I'll probably replace all of the wheel studs to be safe.

I don't know what your rims need. Check Wheelers for deep threading lugnuts

My 2000 has a torque spec of 83 ft/lbs for lug nuts....

You are way over torquing them. Spec is 83 lbs dry. You are lubing them and torquing to 100. That is probably the equivalent if a dry 120.
