What is the correct way to adjust the headlights in an 03 tacoma? When I am towing a trailer--and especially since I got a set of Silverstars--I'm pretty much blinding every oncoming car there is.

On most OEMs it is pretty easy to see how the headlights adjust up and down, but on the Tacoma it isn't so obvious. Thanks.

On the back of headllight assembly, there is a small hex head screw towards the bottom and outside corner of each. A couple of turns should do it - vertical only.
Exactly, and you need a very small 4mm wrench to make the adjustments. I've heard of people who try to use plyers and other devices to turn the hex screw, but it's not easy, and you definitely don't want to strip it or break it off. You're better with the right tool. Craftsman sells this wrench as part of a mini wrench set.

Turning the screw to your right, if you are facing the front of the truck, lowers the beam, and is the same for both headlights, either side. Takes about five minutes to make the adjustments. :2cents:
