Does anyone have the Brute Force on there taco? How do you like? Was insall as easy as it looks? How does it compare to the FIPK and deckplate? I know the deckplate is sposed to be the best thing since sex but i like the looks of the BruteForce.

any opinions/exprieance. tried a search and yeilded nothing.

I have the Brute Force on my 2000 Prerunner. Its sounds and looks sweet, but I don't think there's any drastic difference in performance. I did have to replace my MAF sensor a couple thousand miles after I got it, but I don't think the intake caused it because I read in msn autos that it was a known problem that had to be addressed.

If I still had the stock intake I'd rather have done the deckplate mod to save $200. I can't make any comparison cause I haven't tried any of the other options. But yes, the install is very easy. The chrome one kinda fades too.

Do the deckplate, get an Airaid MIT intake tube, and put in a good drop-in filter (I used Amsoil). You will spend about 100 bucks and have a better intake system.

What TRDOLMAN said, but don't forget to order the "O" throttle body gasket from URD.

I highly doubt that little gasket and the edge it has on it is going to make any difference in the amount of airflow in the engine. You won't feel any difference with just switching to that gasket. Don't waste the time.

It is a knock of of the airaid system, seems to have all of the exact same parts. Only $70 shipped. I just ordered one, but haven't got it yet. I will report when I get it. I will probably add a Drycharger over the filter, just to be safe.

pretty interesting. let us know how it turns out.

I'm also looking into the "custom" setups you guys are recommending. hard to tell what i'll end up doing. Were can i get teh AIRAID MIT tube? What about the Throttle Body Spacers. Are they worth a look?
