I am on my 3rd Tacoma, and brakes have sucked on all of them. I have always replaced them with toyota brake pads. Any aftermarket pads that help stop better? Really don't want to change out master or calibers.

Thanks,

I use Toyota pads because they leave less dust and dont squeal like the aftermarket pads do. If you really want to improve your brakes, buy some aftermarket steel braided brake lines like the ones that Wheelers offers:

I've always used the OEM pads as well...

I don't know about less dust or the like... But they have always stopped well and gave a reasonable service period... and they don't eat rotors up like some crap ass PepBoys junk... Less metallics and hence the reason they rarely squeal... I'd guess...

SS brake lines is a good thought... something I should get done...

:Reason for brake performance improvement:
Because SS braided lines won't expand as much as OEM lines... And this means better hydraulic pressure to the Calipers...
