After 70000 miles I am getting around to changing my belts and would like to know a good aftermarket belt or should I go with the OME?Also is there a way to get the correct tension with out a tool? I have heard to tight will wear out bearings etc.
thanks Bill

I think belts are pretty generic. After thirty years of tightening them by feel, I bought a tension gauge just recently. They're not so expensive and now I know they're not too tight. And yes, overtightening could cause failures.

Can't speak to the tension issue (though if you do go too tight, you can spin a bearing). I try to go with Gates aftermarket belts if the dealer price is too high. However, if the dealer price is comparable (sometimes it actually is), then I'd just go with what the dealer has.

Just stick with OEM -

PS Belt 90080-91126-83 $5.69
Alternator Belt 90080-91090-83 $6.59
