I was wondering if anyone had any tips or write-ups on sealing an air box on a 5VZFE. No matter what I do I seem to get a lot of mud and water in there. Thanks!

You know where the air comes in? Put a lot of tape over that and you should be ok......

Man I've siliconed the hell out of the whole box but I still get a decent amount of water and mud in it. I guess its coming through the opening where the air filter slides into. I'm just tired of buying new filters. Oh well....

Careful with that silicone there, pard. If it is at all uncured and you fire off the engine, it will trash your O2 sensor unless it is the sensor safe stuff.

There are 3 (I think) tiny drainholes on the bottom of the box, did you get those? If I bothered to do that, I'd leave at least one of them open though.

You know that you could be sucking it in the air intake. I have seen plenty of people soak their filter doing that.
