Well today I had to run to the parts store and on my way back I decided to see if the snow was melting on a really easy (2wd easy) mile streach of power lines. Most of the snow was gone on the trail but some of the spots that dont get sun still had alot. Well I came to a hill thats like a hairpin going up a hill. I made it just around the sharp part only to find the hill was all ice and nothing else. So as im backing down the hill more ice was found and off the trail I went. Up to the doors in snow. After 10-20 min of digging out with my snowmobile tie down bar, rocking it back and forth, and reving the piss out of it she finally came free. And to think I almost got on the phone to call a friend for help. 6 months and I still havent been needed to be pulled out. The power of a Tacoma.

Sweet Im where do you go wheelin in western ma? I have been looking for places but all I can find is farmers fields with mud.

awesome... similar thing happened to me about a month ago. Either of you guys know any trails in eastern mass? and do u belong to the New Chapter? I've been looking to join, but the site is down and i can't seem to get in touch with anyone.

Yeah I cant get on the site either...but when I visited no one ever posted anyways. I know of some pretty good trails up in the Winchendon/Ashburnham area. Ive been looking for people to go with.

I'm in southeastern Mass.. Attleboro area, about 45 mins south of boston on I-95. Actually, still in school right now, i'm a junior, so i don't have too much time to wheel. Once a month, maybe. I've got a couple of buddies with Wrangler Rubicon's that I go with (they're in their 20's, one's a local cop), maybe we can all hook-up this summer. I'll def. be in touch. I've heard of a couple good trails in north western RI, thats about halfway. I don't know. I'll talk to the other guys.

Not to many trails around here that are legal. Most of the time I just play around on any high tensions around the area. I just take trails and drive around and hope i dont get lost.

Nope, no fields.. just under the hightension wires and out behind the mall. Ya, not a whole lot of legal trails 'round here, thats why I wheel with a local cop

Have to admit the Tacos got power. Went through some $hit last weekend. I did fine until I had to be winched out of a hole. It took about 200 ft. plus of winch cable, straps, etc and about 2+ hrs to get out. Other than that, it was all good. I was amazed by what these trucks can do. :clap:
