Just curious as usual. Good price on the shackles IMhO. Heard bad things about the coil adjusters and didn't think they made them for Tacos. Im assuming they go b/t the coil and the coil seat on the strut.

well first of all you cant adjust coilovers over 3" of lift on a pre 05 tacoma (not sure about the 05's) and second, the coilovers are different for 05's so i dont see how this can fit 95-05. you'd be better off with swayaways for about the same price or donahoes if you're willing to spend a little extra

the coil adjusters basically look like an adjustable spacer to me. again, you cant adjust over 3" of lift, so i dont see why they say 0-5"

the shackles look ok but you can probably get name brand ones for less or equal price. i've never heard of these guys before

YoT - why can't you adjust coilovers more than 3"?

Cope - these things look real cheap. What do you actually wanna get out of your truck? What kind of wheeling are you looking at? Do you just want lift?
Nah id never use the adjusters im just a curious person and wanted to know what everyone thought about them. However I am looking for a lift and was gonna go with Hytenors old setup OME882/N91s with an ARB bumpr and m8000, but he recenlty swapped in SAWs so now, based on his reasons for swapping in SAWs, im lookin at coilovers in the $600+ range, less expensive the better. In the rear right now i got a 2" aal and was gonna add a Daystar shackle when i do the lift. then when i got the money swap in a new leaf pack. I dont know when ill get around to it but while im saving the money for it Im just making use of all the guniea pigs i have at hand. I always open to anyones advice/input/opinion and apprecitate it. Like I said Im always listening to everyones experience so I can make the best decision I can when it comes time to mod my Taco.

Also, my truck is a DD and therefore see the pavement 95% of the time but it also goes in nasty places on hunting trips (i hunt every weekend september till the end of december) and when I do take it offroad i give it hell so I'd like to get an appropriate setup. And in addition to the winch and bumper Id like to eventually carry some sliders and an aftermarket skidplate as mine have been ripped of or are seriously dented. as I have had some body damage occur and the sliders will make a nice step up for my GF. So right now im trying to figure out what spring rate i should be looking for in a coilover. Thanks
