Born and raised in Jersey till I was 23. Marlboro, NJ. I had a friend in HS who used to go to PA to wheel, but I forgot where. I was more into muscle cars and British sports cars back then. I'll try to find out. I don't think there's too many places in the Garden State. If there are, I'd like to know, too.

Yep I am down south outside of Ocean City, seems like there are more and more people from Jersey. I see Tacoma's all the time, wonder how many are on this board?

Just talked to my old friend. He's like me......hasn't lived in Jersey for over a decade. He said he would go to places like the Pine Barrens, where they have trails. If you do a SAS, then keep in mind that if your rig is lifted more than 4", then you need to get licensed with "Rolling Papers", which will test your vehicle's stability. You also must have mud flaps. You may want to check with the DMV.

There's also something like Splitrock, by the power lines? Does that sound familiar? But alot of those trails go onto private property and the wardens are always on the lookout for trespassers, as well as illegal vehicles. So it may be best to stay out of those areas, unless you know where the public trails are, and stay on course.

He also mentioned Paragon Park, in PA, which is an adventure park specifically for wheelin'.

i'm from northern nj.

there are many lift laws in nj. if the vehicle is above stock it has to go to the specialty inspection station. there are only 3 in jersey. i know one is in morristown and another is by atlantic city...dont know about the 3rd one. another thing is that the weight class the tacoma is in you are only aloud to go 9 inches over stock ride height. and they bust your balls about everything there, they inspect everything.

I have copy of the lift law from back in 2001, it is in Bit map form. I'll send it to you via e-mail. Let me know if it helps you out.

p.s. if anyone else from jersey needs a copy let me know...

I don't need no stinking inspection!!! Just take the sticker out, the front plate off and pretend like your from PA.

Sounds good if it would work but, I know from experience it won't. Cop cars have side view mirrors as well. I know this b/c I drive one for a living and have used it for that exact reason. Good thought though.
What township you work for??? They hiring??? ;)

The taco is 2/05 and the 84 is 5/04 and the 02 bike has never been inspected
