I have an XRunner and I was told that the front speakers are 6x9. So I went and bought a set of them yesterday and took off the doors and they are 6x9 but in thie stupid bucket and there is NO way to mount the new speaker in that big ass hole and u cant take old speaker out of the bucket to use. Is there a bracket I need to mount different 6x9 in this. I dont want that bracket I seen for 6 1/2" I want 6x9.
I know I have an XRunner but all the front doors I am sure are gonna be the exact same Xrunner or 4x4.

Just gut the factory speaker out of the gray "adapter". Screw the new speaker to the adapter and reinstall. Shoot me your email, I have a "how-to" at home.
