thinking of some basic pro comp 152's 16x7 with 4" BS. i know my 265/75/16's will fit, but dunno if i want to jump to 285's if that's too wide for a 7" wide wheel. too bad there aren't any used 255/85/16's in my area (socal) because those would be perfect.

It should be ok, people run 12.5" on 8" wheels without problems, so an 11.5" on a 7" should be fine. Why not get the same wheel in an 8" wide though?

1" means a lot more weight when using steel wheels. Plus they are more expensive. Found 16x7's with 4" BS that would work great with the 285/75/16's i want to run.

They are fine. I run 285/75/16 Duratracs on my 04 16" TRD wheels.
thanks for the reply, got the same wheels used panted black:D

Most of the wheels in this thread are 7" or 7.5" wide:

People have been running 285's on the 7" wheels for years without issues
sweet thanks
