ARB Front Locker

I contacted ARB USA and they are going to be releasing their front and rear air lockers for the 05 sometime next month. My question is to those who have used ARB or are using ARB lockers. What is your opinion of them? Good bad or indifferent.

I have them front and rear and they are great. I don't often use the front locker, however.

I've also got them front and rear and they're the strongest option out there. They are also the only option for a selectable locker which is very important when you drive on ice 5 months a year. The only issues with them are they do have to be properly installed and they are more expensive but you get what you pay for. The first time mine were installed they destroyed the front locker, gears and bearings but replaced it all and regeared both ends for free. Make sure you use a certified ARB installer or else when it blows up you're screwed. This isn't a job for a first timer.

I also use my front locker quite a bit but that's probably because I wheel more than Hytenor, he's scared to leave the board for a day in case he misses a thread. :D
watch it, young'n! :D
I was too busy trying to cut off my thumb on the table saw today to go wheelin. (makes typing kind of interesting) Besides, everything's buried under 20' of snow right now.

Pics? I know you have pics! Post 'em up! :D

I was playing monster garage this weekend and got some grinder shrapnel to the left eye. I was even wearing safety glasses this time. If I can't get the little shard out of there I might have to go see the doc tomorrow.

heck, don't bother with the Doc, I'll be right over with some channel-locks, have it out in no time :D

I didn't take any pics of my mangled thumb. The blade took about a 1/16" deep patch, 1/2"x 3/4" of mostly skin. there's a tiny little spot where it hit meat. My bookcase will now have to wait a bit longer... this was the first time I've really done much woodworking with the new bifocals...oops.

not biggie, I need to run down to San Leandro and get my leaf springs re-arched...the last couple of firewood lodes finally did them in. not bad though considering it's been 2 1/2 yrs and Lord knows how many full loads of wood.
