My Dcab has 30,000 miles on it and I was wondering at what point should I go synthetic with all fluids. What weight and brand of oil and brands of AT Fluid and Differential fluid do you also recommend?

About 27,000 miles ago.

I use AMSOIL ATF in everything. I have some info on my site if you are interested.
Not to be silly, but you use the AMSOIL ATF in the engine instead of oil??? Don't you have trouble with the radiator???? :) Just being a turd. Do you know of anyone on the west coast that can program my air/fuel injection curve like the LOOONNG thread a month ago?? I would like to check into freeing up some unused potential. Thanks, Gadget .

Whenever you feel like going to synthetic is a good time to go. It's not life or death, but it's a nice to have the toughness of synthetics. All I will say is that everyone has opinions. Develop you own through research.

I run 5w30 Mobil 1 in the engine. If youa re in florida run a 10w30. In my manual tranny and x-case i run Redline MT-90 due to the fabulous reviews of it. In the diff's i run Mobil 1 75w90.

Why in FL do you need to run 10W? I'm in Hawaii (fairly comprable climates I think) and just wondering since I came across this thread. 10W better for hot/humid climates?

It is a very old belief that is no longer valid with newer formulations of conventionals much less synthetics.
