Some of the older guys will know what I'm talking about..

A few years ago, someone posted a PDF on making your own skidplate...more or less dimensions and measurements.

Anyone have a copy of this pdf?

I've search the usual places..and I don't have a delphi account to search the old forum....

Thanks!

I did a write up once about beefing up the stock plates. Cheap, simple and they held up to some pretty intensive pounding for a few years before I finally did the big cut. Now, I don't need no stinkin skid plate.

Thanks..My e-mail is goofing up so I can't check it right now.

My stock one is trashed, and I was hoping to axle swap before the takeover..but I could use the extra coin for a down payment on a house.

Exactley. Seems like a good idea to me, no dents, no rust and strong. Plud it should slide over rocks.
Me too, I am going to take some measurements and see what I can come up with. I was reading that article and remebered a few buggies running them. I was able to find a cheaper source for the board as well when I typed in "Plastic Cutting Board".

I have some Autocad drawings of one member's palte design from back in the days (2003 I think). I converted them to .pdf so I could post them. I can't find the .pdf but I have the .dwg's if you're interested. The .pdf's may be at home. Let me know if Mudferret's were not what you were looking for.

That'll work for me. Can you email me the .dwg file?
Thanks!

If you want to shoot them to me that would be cool, I have CAD at work.
Thanks

Good plug for a stand up guy, but once again your post is completely irrelevant to the topic being discussed in the thread.
