my 98 bumper has a metal plate under the plastic that I drilled into to mount my 6" bosch that my buddy gave me. However just last night (at the end of two loooong drives this weekend) I noticed something was up with them grounding through it. They were fine at first, but if your hella's ground via the mounting bolts too, maybe hardwire them to a solid ground instead. Looks like I might have to do that today.

I'm looking for a tonneau cover for my new-to-me '03 Extra Cab Straight-side 6.2 ft bed Tacoma. I wish I could just take the one off of my other truck and put it on this one, but the other one is a Step-side so the bed is narrower.
