New here, so I hope this is the correct forum, and I have searched, but to no avail, so here goes.

What is the axle tube diameter for a non-TRD 2000 Taco rear axle? I am measuring 2.75" but want to get some other responses so I know what to order.

The axle is going under my XJ, so I need new perches and shock mounts and need to know the correct diam.

I measured a spare set of U-bolts, and they are 3 inches.

Sorry, but ID or OD, just want to make sure of things.

Anyone else care to measure their's?

It's the OD of the tube, since they have to fit over the tubes, I figure that is an accurate measurent.
