Cool, I was thinking for the medium trail we can run Martinez and something else we didn't run last time. Martinez is not too hard but very senic. You'll like it!Mike said:I signed up for the medium trails Thursday, hard trails Friday, and easy trails Saturday (if we're not fixing trucks).

Are you guys going to highly recommend winches for anyone running Axle Alley? I would rather not be on that trail for 11 hours again this time.Crash said:Cool, I was thinking for the medium trail we can run Martinez and something else we didn't run last time. I missed the last day of wheeling last trip out because I killed a bunch of tires. Glad I'm running MT/R's now! I am bringing two spares though, they have some pointy sharp assed rocks out there!Dick Foster said:I did hard, medium, easy. But your strategy may be better.
Warm up with a practice round
Do the hard thing
Take it easy. You've skated and are gonna make it home if you didn't bust shit the day before. If you're wrenching, you didn't miss much the last day anyway.
I was giving it two days for fixing something really FUBARed and needing to get parts out of Phoenix or something. I still remember over nighting a transfer case that time.

As long as someone with a winch goes first! I don't remember anyone making the first obstacle without winching when I was there! I think everyone had to get winched up the last obstacle too.Crash said:Yes, But I might be the exception because it is looking like I'm not going to get one before then. I'm President now I can break the rules!![]()

The IFS guys where the ones that needed a winch. We (SAS trucks) are tall enough to get up the wall, Just not over it.

I informed Mike, heatstroke, that my family business has some issues to resolve and I have to remain in state to maintain some stability
I really wanted to make it, I had a lot of fun when I visited and wheeled with you guys in late July!!
I will return in the fall or next Spring
peace out
Got my permit today, and I think I know the answer, but is this permit per person, or per vehicle? I'll have two people in my rig.Crash said:No problem, You gotta do what you gotta do. The family is more important then wheeling.
As far as I know they are per person, Unless you have a "family permit".Mike said:Got my permit today, and I think I know the answer, but is this permit per person, or per vehicle? I'll have two people in my rig.

Mike, I don't know if you saw Shanes post on the SW board, But it looks like everybody on state trust land needs a state land use permit. That means even if someone is riding with you, they have to have a permit of thier own.Mike said:Got my permit today, and I think I know the answer, but is this permit per person, or per vehicle?
