Anyone ever go back to stock from having a Fabtech installed??

if your talking about the fabtech six inch lift, i think when installing it you have to cut a crossmember, so it would take some work to go back to stock

The fabtech 6" or any other subframe cannot be reversed (unless you keep, and weld back in the crossmember). If it's one of the fabtech replcement coilovers, all you got to do us unbolt them, and put the stock coilover back in.

I remember someone one here saying they welded the old crossmember back in before they traded it in, and the dealer took it, but from the sounds of things i think the dealer had to probably re-fix it themselves so a lawsuit wasnt on their hands if/when they sold it.

I couldn't even imagine trying to go back to stock from my FT 6" kit. I had to cut the crossmember out in about 3-4 pieces. I don't think I would trust welding it back in...

Don here in Texas went back from a TM6 (same principle) last year. Just welded in the subframe (and I think a little extra). As long as you really understand welding and didn't hack your subframe out it should be alright.
