ok so right now i am running 33x12.50 tires on 15x10 wheels with 3.5" backspacing. (i have 6" total lift, 3 suspension, 3 body). i want to get 33x13.50 toyo open country MTs on 15x10 wheels but the wheels i want only come in 3.75" backspacing and i am worried that they will rub on that metal arm that comes off the top of the coil and runs down near the tire. as of right now i only have 1.25" of clearance. do you think the new tires would rub on that? should i get wheel spacers? or should i get different wheels with less backspacing? but i really want the wheels with the 3.75" backspacing so i would want to use wheel spacers but are those ok to use?

thanks...dalton

Sounds like you'll be fine, if your 1.25" of clearance number is close to being accurate. With an inch wider tire, you'll be 0.5" closer to the A-arm. Tire numbers are usually a bit off, but not enough to interfere in your case.

Test fitting is always your friend though, have them mount one tire, and mount that wheel/tire on the front so you can see for yourself.
