Since the winter has hit i have developed an air leak around the edge of the rim. nothing ahs changed since this summer except for the temperature.

Im thinking that the colder temps have made the rubber harder and less likely to conform to the shape of the rim. my question is then have any of you other cold weather types had this problem and if so what have you done about it (other than re filling the tires every few days)

ive started running higher pressures and that seems to help but its no fix. I have 32-1150 bfg all terrains with higher mileage. thanks much

i've seen air leaks at the bead caused by corrosion, go to a tire shop and have them remove the tire and inspect the wheel for any corrosion around the bead area.

check for corrosion or foreign objest like sand.... i had a keak due to sand after my truckhaven trip....

also might as well jsut replace the valve stem too.... and have the tire place use bead sealer on both sides of the tire

Do you remember off hand what the cost was to inspect the tire in question?
