I drive up near Bakersfield for most of mine, but curious what others recommend to tear it up in So Cal. :saw:

A good area for you and not so far away from Bakersfield would be the Gorman/Lockwood Valley/Hungry Valley OHV area.

You can also find trails on dirtopia.com

FYI we don't tear up our trails, we respect them and treat them as if they were part of our backyards, places to play not destroy.

I have done cleghorn ridge trail a few times and love it. Some pretty neat stuff and you can always bypass obstacles if it looks too sketchy for your rig. I have done some pretty nasty rock stuff at big bear which was fun. I would have liked to have sliders there but didn't take any damage when I went.

The area has hills, washes, flat sections, rocky areas and a man-made area for testing out your skills. Plus Truckhaven is across the Highway.
