Best place to buy Deck Plate - ?

Along with my muffler I'm buying/doing the deck plate mod. I don't know of any shops around here to buy one. Where would be the best/cheapest place to purchase one online? Since I have a 2.7L - the 3" one is the correct one to purchase - right?

got mine at the boat shop, 5 bucks
a full service boat shop should have em.
i dont know if its worth going online to ship 10bucks worth of stuff.
Boaters World or West Marine both have locations all over the country. Most other boaters supply stores carry them.
I did a 4 inch on my 01 2.7. I used a 4 1\8 hole saw and used foam tape left over from my cap install to seal around the ribs
I didn't know if all boat shops would have them. I guess a trip up to the lake or a quick phone call should clear everything up.

Thanks
Chris

I had never heard of anyone doing a 4inch on the 2.7L that's awsome. I might have to give that a try. Did everything hold up once you had it installed? No check engine light or anything? I hate that light sometimes. Seems to be more annoying then helpful most of the time.

What size would I need to use for my 3.4L V6?
4" will fit on the front of a V6 airbox.

hey chris,
man, I didn't even use a deckplate. I just cut the hole out. However, I hardly ever see any water, so it doesn't really affect me. But I could definitely tell a lil boost in power. That combined w/ my header(hopefully soon), and a new muffler, I should have like 500hp's, lol!
Nice man. I haven't really had the time yet to start on my truck. I finally have some money so I'm going to be working on it here soon. I'm really waiting till February/March to put anything on because hopefully the snow will be gone. That is if we get any snow at all. Plus it's hard getting people together that can put things on like a lift for my truck.
