Swapping in a D60, will be running 39.5" tires. I am planning on running hydro assist as well. I don't really want to spend $400 on a nice PS pump, any way I can modify the factory one to flow better and still be fairly reliable?

I figure a 2"x8" ram would work, (cheapest) but a 1.75"x8" would be the best (faster turning).

I want decently quick turning, I don't do much road driving, but I am not one to drive slooowww down the trails either. I have a very heavy foot when it comes to trail riding.

Dick tried drilling out the restrictor on one of my spare pumps and it just made the low idle steering slower.
my pump finally died so i rebuilt it and put a larger reservoir on it as well. works fine for me so far.
