I don't know if they are all the same or not, but I want to get a trailer hitch, and want to be able to still use the stock spare wheel location (and spare wheel winch). I think I may have heard that some trailer hitches interfere with the usability of the stock spare wheel location and winch. Anyone know what is the best trailer hitch to get?

Other than looks and mounting points all hitches are prtty much equal. Hidden hit has one with rounded tubing. A few attach to the bumper brackets with two bolts vice attaching all bolts to the frame.
Go with the best priced "Name brand" i.e. Hidden Hitch, Reese, U-Haul.

I agree with Tim - if you get a brand name, the Class III hitches are all fairly similar. I have the hitch directly from Toyota. I *believe* the hitch itself is made by Reese. However, the wiring is unique to Toyota and included a fused relay box located behind the rear seat.

Just don't buy a generic type hitch where the center section bolts to the outer mounting plates. Make sure it's all one welded hitch that bolts to the frame.
