Sup all,

I have an 03 tacoma with the 6" fabtech lift. After reading about blocks on these boards. I thinks it's time for me to get rid of mine before they cause some damage.
What are my options to get 6" of lift?

Anyone make leaf packs that will give me that much lift or do I need a combo of leafs and shakles?

I'm not sure if you can get 6" out of shackles and AAL. Maybe 3 or 4 with that setup but you could go that way with smaller blocks to get the 6" you need. Traction bars could help with the axel wrap. Your best bet but of course the most expensive would be to get custom leaf springs for the lift you want. Whatever you decide, but if you want 3" blocks and longer u bolts, I have some that I had removed for custom Alcan springs. Much better ride with new springs and can hold more weight without sagging. Many seem to prefer the Deavers tho.

The best route is getting custom leafs made or going with the chevy spring swap. I ended getting some custom packs made by AOR (aor4x4.com). They made them for 4" of lift and then I'm using their 1.5" lift shackles. Depending how you want your truck to sit, I *think* its 5" for level stance and 5.5" for a slighty higher rear. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though. With 5.5" I'm a tad high in the rear.
