Ok got a 88 XtraCab SR5 siting on Pacer "bullet-hole" style wheels on 31x10.5 rubber. Have lots of room, can I get 33x12.5's on this rig without lifting? If the truck needs any lift for that tire size, what I need 3.5 suspension, 2-3" body??? whats best? Thanks....

I saw someone running 35x9.5 or 10 on stock suspension. Maybe a little pinch wled pounding.

Keeping them skinny on stock size (backspacing) wheels is the way to get tall tires in there.

Yep - stay skinny and you'll DRMATICALLY reduce the intereference issues.

I have 33x10.50 on stock rims on my '93 with NO lift and NO rubbing - even "flexed out". There was a guy on yotatech that ran 35x10.50 on a third gen truck with no lift:

If you are worried about the performance of the skinny tires - read this:
