hey guys i just got the new 5150 from bilstein but i went to put them on and the bolt wont go through the hole i have a trailmaster lift.do they put different bolts in there? its just to big for the bushing..any help thanx guys

did you get the right bushings? if they're like the 5100's they dont come with the right ones...you need the hourglass ones, i think 3/4"?

yes, you need the 3/4" bushings. adding a little grease to them helps slide them on

hey thanx guys i just got done with them i opted to drill out the old bushings to 3/4" youd be suprised how hard it is to find these bushings

oh yeah it's def hard....well not really...just took me about 2 weeks for me to get some 3/4 bushings...haha

I put the 5150's on about a month ago and I went to Home Depot and got a 5/8" bit and drilled the bushing out, and lubed it and it went on great.

I know that energy suspension makes an hourglass bushing that fits the 5150's. The part number is 9-8108. In Canada Lordco and Napa Autoparts carries these, but you yankee's are on your own! haha.

4WPW usually stocks bunches of 'em (the hour-glass, 3/4" I.D. Energy Suspension bushings), so if you're close to one, you can get them there. (Well, at least the Dallas 4WPW store does - I've already bought 3 sets of them there over the years with no problem). Other 4x4 shops have been known to stock the Energy Suspension bushings as well.

will the bolt fit the factory hole? I am putting a set on mine 5100"s part number B46-2284. Thats what I was told by Jackit.
