Hey All,

I have a 2001 Tacoma 4x4 TRD, stock suspension (going OME soon) with some 265/70r16's.

I'd like to replace the stock alloy wheels with some black steel.

I believe I'm looking for some 16"x8", 6x5.5" Lug, with 4.5" back spacing — Is that correct?

Can anyone suggest any good rim options (from experience)?

Thanks for the help!

The stock alloys are soooo much stronger than steelies. On dozens (like 30 or 40+) group trail rides with loads of toyotas never seen a stock alloy fail. Steelies, bend and leak all the time. Paint some OEM alloys you like(style) and bash away. Disclaimer: I am on my second set of steelies but now have welded in rock rings/ rim stiffeners. Just bought a set of OEM alloys....

i to am not a fan of steelies and run alloys. but to answer your question wheelers has what your looking for. i have seen steelies bend on the trail and leak out. sometimes a hammer can be a quick fix if your lucky, but i like the overall look and performance of alloys.
