Johnson Valley was sick! OMG, I've never seen so much mud.......did Clawhammer with the guys I was meeting there, and then they had to jet, so I went on a solo mission to see where sledgehammer was at... I'd never done that one before sooo..........and seeing how I found it, and well, I have this new winch, and a slightly capable rig, I said what the hell....

Got some pretty sweet shots, so hardcore hang-ups on my diff, and got lost.....but ended up back on the road around 8pm, started the trail at 1pm....that is the coolest trail.....All I broke was my front diff cap, but I put a hole an inch by inch in the lower section....no more fluid and I still had another couple miles to do.......thank god that AMSOIL is some good stuff....I didn't feel like taking the time to put my spare diff cover on so it ran dry for awhile, but everything was good!

Scrape carnage took it's toll on both drivelines, trac bar (rear driveline skid, thank god), t-case, all crossmembers, axles, diffs, backplates, knuckles, cats, muffler, rims, and every other piece of metal under the truck.....oh and a wee bit of body damage on the rear by my tail light...

I did it alone, however, I don't recommend it....(I had a sleeping bag, plenty of food and water, a winch, straps, and a capable rig)....and I had to work my ass off....Winched 4 times, hi jacked once, and stacked and un-stacked rocks 3 times.....It's always easier with more peeps ;) Anyway, that was my day trip to the hammers..... :xsmash:

Damn it you BONEHEAD!!!
I thought you knew at least enough not to do that kind of shit alone. WTF is wrong with your head anyway??
You could have hurt yourself out there. The very least is that you could a busted up your shit and missed out on AZ rocks. If I could find a smile depicting an ass kicking, it would be right here.

Sorry Dad! (chuckle chuckle)

Yeah, it was like I was a kid in a candy store, I just couldn't leave without a lil taste, but the one taste turned into a full meal and it was on.....

I was pretty tired by the end though, phewww...but seriously, you are right, just so you newbies know, don't try this at home....

Nice line brotha!!! so what body damage did you get and how exactly did you pop the cherry on the new bumper????

Only body damage was a lil scrapy scrapy on my bedside, about 6" square...other than that, just scrapage all under the truck....and the bumper got pivoted on, scraped up to hell, rammed into, even a boulder rocked over on top it....that is one strong ass bumper.......geeeeeezus!

you suck, i would do anything to wheel out there, the front bumper kicks ass man, love the design, and yeah the rear 60 is a boat anchor aint it? i somewhat shaved mine, well not enough to have to mess with the ring gear and re-plating it, that little extra clearance really helped though.

Thanks bro, I'm happy with it.....You gonna make the trek to azrocks....Yeah, her ass drags all over everything.........Never thought I'd say 37's aren't big enough, but ya know............there's always something to get bigger.....It's still my DD so can't really justify going to 40's, no matter what kind of rocks I get into......
