Am curious to know how much it would take to replace the ugly orange blinkers on the front plastic bumper of the my '99 tacoma. I think, am not sure, that all models after that came with clear light covers, not orange. Is that an easy swap out or would it involve taking off the front bumper. Basically how much of a PITA would this be and would it be expensive? Thanks.

you can find the clear bumper lights on ebay for pretty cheap. i just switched over my corner lights to clear and it wasnt difficult at all

01+ came with clear marker light covers, with an orange bulb. They're different from the other years however. You can either buy the entire 01+ assembly and ghetto fab it in, or find clears that fit your housings, and buy a coloured bulb as well.

Im just looking to get rid of the ugly orange light cover. WOuld this just be a simple click out clik in install? Where can I find the replacements so it would be an easy swap?

The bulb is dead simple, that's if you find that you have a clear bulb in there, I'm assuming you do since the lenses are already orange. Try Chris (trdparts4u.com) for covers; if you buy them from the dealer, you're paying a ton.
