Do you guys think some silicon or RTV would seal it? When I tear my Napa shaft boot I'll need a solution to keep it as a spare.

Who is reusing the c-clips? The FSM say they are not reusable.

I've done the boot slide mod on my 2000 and 2005. Both trucks were lifted with coilovers.

Now my 2012 has coilovers. Is anybody have any suggestions as to something to spray(?) on the boots to keep them supple before I have swap CVs with the mod. Armor All? something else?
