As I said on FB. This hurts to even see. Ted and BR go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly.

You cant break up the band!

That being said... Awesome price for a great truck!! Wish I could swing it, but not sure what I would do with ANOTHER truck at the house.

Here's a play by play timeline/equipment listing based off the Garage thread... and a poor memory so I'm sure something is missing.

Purchased the truck early 2006 or late 2005 with approx 185k miles. It has a clean title but can't find the durn thing or, the tag office kept it as Hall Co. used to do that on the older model vehicles... I'll just have to address it. Keep in mind if it says "New" look at the date of install... and of course there is plenty of rock rash on Everything since '06 :D

March/April 2006
• 1985 Toyota Pickup Ext Cab DX model, bone stock
• New Marlin built G54HD 5spd, new clutch etc…
• New Single Marlin built Fwd Shift T-Case with 4.7 low range
• New Bud Built X-member and skid
• New metal backed timing gear guides and fresh timing set
• New Doug Thorley header, Chrome and thick mating flange. New exhaust (muffler and pipe since have been modified/replaced to tuck up closer to truck)
• EGR Block off plates
• New Weber 32/36
• Glass bead finished rocker cover, intake man, all brackets, repainted or left natural. All new gaskets etc while the engine was out. Supposedly the PO had a head job done 20k earlier
• Used set of 8” Steelies 31” AT’s

Aug 2008
• Battery tray/rust replacement
• Somewhere along the line the bench seat was replaced with old 4runner buckets

Feb/March 2009
• Used SR5 gauge cluster install. I modified the odometer to match the previous odo mileage so it would remain true to the truck.
• V6 Caliper, LC rotors and 1.5” spacers installed
• Used later model Dual diaphragm brake booster
• New 1” LC master and proportion and residual valve installed
• IFS “wide” rear housing and Sky/Monte Carlo disc brake install
• Ubolt flip and shock mounts
• Tilt wheel column install with intermittent wiper switch (the brain is there but need the connecting harness to complete). This column also solved the issue with interfering with the larger booster.

June 2009
• New radiator
• TCase parking brake install Sky

Dec 2009
• New 33” MT’s and Rough Country Lift kit

April 2010
• Trans goes back to Marlin for repair/freshening
• Two pc rear drive shaft replaced with modified one pc
• Longer front brake lines SST braid

May 2010
• High clearance rear of bed

Aug 2010
• Stubb’s hybrid Sliders
• Rear Lock Right

Dec 2010
• Custom homemade rear bumper

Aug 2011
• Highlift and custom homemade mount
• 63” Chevy rear springs, Bilstein shocks and bumps. SBC, a local shop did the work

Sep/Oct 2011
• Elocker mod and Elocker rebuild. 12voltguy harness and panel
• Lock Right chunk goes in the front axle
• More used bucket seats
• New Tuffy center console

Nov 2012
• Pass floor rust repair and foot pan floor sealing

March 2013
• Slight altercation with a tree limb…
• New grill, fan shroud, water pump (cause it was easy)

April 2013
• Cowl drain rust repair and dash, a/c refirb (see Snowball thread)
• New a/c condenser, dryer, compressor, lines, cleaned ducts/boxes and evaporator
• New Bearcat CB radio custom install
• New Alpine AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth head unit, new front small speakers, new 6x9 rear speakers in new boxes
• New reman clutch slave and master

Aug 2013
• Install used Marlin cage modified to fit ECab
• New Sky rear disc/rotors and reman calipers
• Rebuild Weber carb, add pressure gauge

Aug 2014
• New Davez front winch bumper and custom frame mods/re-enforcements
• New Warn M8000s winch and recovery kit accessories
• Install modified front axle housing (still SFA width)
o New Ubolt flip
o Used IFS steering box
o New Marlin box mount (modified)
o New TG High Steer kit
o Repacked bearings
o Marlin Eco axle seals
o TG ball wiper kit
o TG Super Knuckle bolts, upper only
o TG back plate eliminator kit

Things you should know
• Spares included are:
o The old two pc rear drive shaft and lightly used (from new) center bearing
o One stock Birfield joint, one short shaft, one long shaft
o One rear axle shaft/bearing assy for easy trail replacement
o New U joint, Used gas cap, hoses, belts misc stuff
o Used 33-10.50 x 15 MT spare tire on factory rim along with custom tire multi mount system that I made and the tire tee wrench
o USW Aluminum tool box
o Removable tag mount

The truck is road worthy but it doesn’t drive that great nor does it have much power. I drive it to work (approx. 70mi round trip) and it does fine, just don’t be in a hurry and don’t pull out in front of a loaded chicken truck without plenty of room to spare. The brakes work great, no issues there. There is one hard line that should be replaced on the front right caliper

The birfs and all the axle shafts are stock. I would recommend RVC’s or the new “Longfields” if tire size is increased. The birfs that are in it looked great, cleaned up well and have been freshly lubed. One wheeling trip to Harlan on them with no issues.

The engine has a very small oil leak at the front seal. I installed a speedy sleeve on the balancer and that slowed it down but the balancer really needs to be replaced.

The engine oil pressure gauge shows low oil pressure at idle, at temp. I hear all the time this normal for the higher mileage 22r engines.

The windshield needs to be replaced and the rust around it (common) should be fixed. The doors need some attention in the regulator and seal/weather stripping dept. The rear slider is also getting crispy around the seals etc.. hey, it’s an old truck.

If you have any questions please drop me note via PM or email. Thanks!
