Got 130kmi and it appears that my brake master cylinder is going out. When sitting at a red light and holding the brakes the pedal fades and I begin to roll. I can pump it back up and the pedal is hard again for a little bit. Also when coming to a quick or hard stop, the pedal fades. I am going to bleed it tonight just make sure that there is no air causing this, but I am afraid that it is the master cylinder. Opinions or ideas are more than welcome.

Thanks.

I would bleed and check all of your lines to make sure there is no damage to the system. And then if it still is soft I guess I would change the master out. I had brake problems for a while and I couldn't really figure it out, so I just finally replaced the cylinder, after 95K, and all has worked well since. Easy job and it's cheep with the core charge. Good luck. Maybe take a look at the calipers as well for any signs of extreme wear around the dust boots.

Check to make sure there is no leak in the brake booster line.
