I have a 99 TRD with 258,000 miles, and I thought my clutch fork was going bad. Had a lot of squeaking and Clutch was disengaging improperly. I reached in the clutch housing with some long needle nose and found that where the clutch fork pivot mounts, actually broke off from the casting of the transmission. Pictures to come I’m dropping my transmission tomorrow. Anyone heard of this? Any ideas on what process to use to weld it, I’m hoping to use my spool gun otherwise I will have to hire it out because I don’t have an A C tig.

The pivot bolt threads into the transmission housing. Assuming you didn't crack the housing, you just need a new pivot bolt.
