If you're planning on swapping in new buckets from say... a 1996 or newer, Im pretty sure its going to require a bit of modification on the seat rail brackets. If you're up to the challenge of the project, I would definitely recommend getting some 4runner seats out of a 1996-2002. Im not sure about how adaptable the rail measurements are on the newer 4runner seat rails. Plan to have to do a little wiring, but nothing that overwhelm the benefit of power seats with lumbar supports. I just did it myself into my 96 Tacoma and its great. Well, theres my 2 cents...
