Well I built my first set of sliders for my buddies 88' runner. This past summer I built a front and rear bumper for my truck. I'm trying to get in some practice before this summers SAS. These are made out of 2"x2"x3/16". Heavy stuff.
Here is a pic of some welds. I'm pretty sure that they are strong enough, since the metal was glowing blue after I finished the welds. Just got the argon/co2 gas... Sooo much nicer than fluxed core, but still trying to make a better bead. :welder:

Here it is being pieced together.

Here they are after welding till five in the moring. A bowl of cereal around 2:30am is was enough motivation to keep me going.

We decided to go with the tilt (about 25 degrees).
