URD recommends that the bung location to be @ 4 o'clock or 8 o'clock before the cats. Here is were I am confused. My TRD headers come down from a "Y" comfiguration. right after the Y there is a O2 sensor then the first cat. I cannot figure out were I should mount the bung. It doesn't look like there is going to be any room.

Click on the webshots link in my signature. There is a pic of how to do what you are asking. The internal guts of the cat does not begin until the body of the cat straightens out. Lots of room in the tapered part behind the flange to weld the bung. Just cut back the shield a little. Get a magnet to get all the shavings after cutting the hole. You are good to go.

Dave..thanks for post the photo of the bung location. Did you have your muffler shop buddy weld it for you? BTW Nice dyno runs. What were your AFR?

I think what you are refering to is a sad addiction to "tacoporn". I'm in too. Those #'s are sweet but I gotta call BS on one of your statements on CT. "I think I am done making more power" Come on now. You can't stop. Admit it you are a power junkie. I'll be right there with you for counseling! Nice #'s indeed. Good job. Matt

Yeah Jim, Scott welded it up for me. Thanks about the dyno run. Guys on this forum don't seem to care much about it. Not one reply. AFR's in the low 12's.
Dave,

Maybe Scott can do the same for me before we install my WI. I'll give him a call.

Dudes, I'm not sure if I regret finding this site or not.

I bought this truck as a beater for construction! Then I did electric fans for a little more power/mileage, with plans for a simple exhaust.. then I got a good deal on a TRD SC.. which led to a complete URD fuel kit, which led to the LM-1 wideband monitoring unit, which led to the BR3 OBD2 sensor unit, which led to the trans cooler, and as soon as the rain clears, the valve body mod...

I'm telling myself oil injection isn't necessary.. for now.

My next major mod may be headers. Then we'll see about the injection... maybe... ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!
