Hey just wondering how often you guys change out your UCA bushings on camburg UCA's?
I've got a 99trd 4x4 with extended Donahoes and the Camburg uca's.
I replaced the bushings a year ago and now it's starting to do the driveway/start-stop clunk again. Only on the passenger side though; same as last time.
Anyone have experiences with this?
Thanks
eric

do you have the grease zerks in yours? they really made a difference in bushing life for mine when I had them. Also, don't grease the OD of the bushings! just grease the ID and they will last a lot longer.

after a year with the zerks installed, new bushings and greased correctly they looked like new...unlike they did the first 2 times before the zerks...lasted maybe 6mos.

Mine has zerks, however they didn't squeak and I didn't grease. My bad.. 6months huh? Might as well use it if I got it this time.
Thanks

Got them on my 05 for the last 8 months or so and no noise or problems. Mine have zerks and I greased them during the install. Hopefully, they will last a few years. Maybe I'm dreaming...we'll see.

Ya stock LCA. My front suspension feels loose right now. Ball joints, uniball, tie rods, and wheel bearing are all good so I think its the bushings on the arms. My coilovers have been rebuilt recently so I think the rules them out.

if you do replace them go with OE bushings and NOT the ES pollys..ask Showstop about that ;)

feels loose or has a lot of 'clunks'? might be coil slap on the shock bodies?

If you really think your LCA bushings are bad, spend the money and buy OEM replacement bushings and have them pressed in. The aftermarket poly kits like those that ES carry are total shit. That and they are a huge PITA to replace and squeak to no end.
