I just bought a new camper shell for my 98. Only thing wrong is it's forest green and my truck is black. Any ideas on an in expensive paint job that will get it somewhat close to the black? Don't want it lookin like a trailer park queen out here in the city.

Considering the Rustoleum job or possibly doing it in a bed liner type coating.

With it being fiberglass any other steps I need to take?

Anyone have any pics of the bed liner material along with the factory black?

If you want to go the DIY Route, a light sanding to prep the surface (remove clear coat and any wax), the light spray, light sand, light spray (repeat 4-6 times). Then shoot clear over the top of that.

Or prep the surface with a light sand and spray it with bedliner coating. I have spray many things with that stuff and it is pretty awesome. Get a good quality brand from a place that sells a lot of it so yours is fresh. Pop out the windows, take off the door and go to town (following the instructions on the can). It should be pretty durable.
