Does anyone know what the weight limit is for the "oh chit handle" or interior ceiling thingy??

Lets just say I was actually scared of it breaking off today... someone was having trouble getting on my truck... and she was basically swinging around like Tarzan on the handle... shes in the estimated 275+ pound range...

So yea.. it got me thinking about how much those little handles can really hold up...

NO.. it wasn't my idea... this girl I am dating asked if I could take her friend home, before we went out... naturally I said ok.. but DAYUM.. she never mentioned her size... it was an adventure getting her in the truck...

I've got about 8 inches of lift on 35s....

don't know the limit, but from that story, i don't think I have to worry about breakin one off. ha ha. that sounds like it was funny. i know if she would have broke if off my truck, i would have picked it up off the ground and beat her with it, then left her layin there. lol.

Honestly if I didn't have the sliders, I doubt she would of been able to get up without anyhelp... but I'm sure if that little handle could talk... it would of been SCREAMING !!.. =(

I dont wanna know... I'm thinking the "load" would be safer in the proper... pickup area, with a few tie downs and/or ratcheting winch straps; A set of helper springs wouldn't hurt either!

I shouldn't really talk at 240# myself, though I'm tall, and people expect me to be lighter

I don't usually use the OS handles to get in thanks to extra leg length, but I've pulled myself up off the floor with them (working on the stereo, alarm, etc) and they seem pretty solid. I think the handle would crack before it tweaked the pillar....
