I found what I think is a pretty good deal on a fiberglass topper for my '01 DCab. It's a "Century Ultra", it's white like my truck and they say it's in excellent shape. They are asking $495 for it. They go for $995 new.

What do you guys know about Century truck toppers? Good? Bad? Indifferent? I know ARE is the best, but as usual... I need reasonably priced.

Any advice and/or experience is appreciated folks!! Thanks!

I have had one for 4 years on my 2000 regular cab and had no problems.
No leaks, no structural cracking etc....I regularly load up a roof rack on it with kayaks as well. I see some people bad mouthing them but I have not figured out why.

Got a pic?

How is yours mounted to the truck? Clamps?

I have Rhino Liner over the rails, do you think this will adversely affect the mounting?

Yes it is held in place by six clamps. They don't seem to loosen up much although I check them every six months or so since I load stuff on the roof. I don't think the liner will matter much. I used some foam tape to protect the bed rails when mounting mine. I think that may help the seal and prevent leakage. I think the truck accessory store over on 15th just off broadway is a dealer for them. I had to buy a lock replacement and they had it in stock.
