A buddy of mine has a '06 Tundra with the 4.0V6.

It's the bench seat model with no cruise control.

I'm thinking that he can just buy the little stalk switch dealio and install it to get cruise control. True?

I'm betting that all the wiring is there and the computer is set up to do this. Anybody know for sure?

That is an interesting and probably correct assumption.

When the Prius first came out it had cruise control buttons on the steering wheel. When we got a new car for sale without cruise, but the buyer wanted it, we could just replace the steering wheel with a new one.

I think we sent the old steering wheels (still brand new) back to toyota.

If you have the ability, remove the switch from another truck and put it into a non-cruise truck. Or call a dealer and ask, if its possible, they probably do it all the time.

Soooo....

Nobody has tried this?

I was sure hoping for some "I did it and it ROCKED!" kind of responses.
