here is a useless post for you, I am using my stock driveshaft with my chevy springs. I have a bit of the splines showing at rest.

Now here is the reason I say this post is useless. My axle needs to be moved back about another inch (I rub my sliders under compression) So I would venture to say, to be safe get a longer driveshaft.

I plan to get a new one when I move the axle back and link it!

something else that occurred to me in regards to you using the stock driveshaft... How much are you lifting the truck? tha will also be a factor on how long your shaft needs to be.
