Hey guys... Was wondering if any of you out there live in the Cincinnati OH area, and would be interested in meeting up somewhere with a few locals and goin' wheelin' for a day. One thing we need first though is a good place to do it! Anyone have any ideas? I dont get to go lookin' for these types of things, and haven't heard much for this area... it's usually out west. Let me know!

We're a fairly new chapter that consists of a couple people in Cincinnati too. We've had only 1 official club run, because of conflicting schedules. Our president is an extremely busy man with work right now, and our events coordinator is over in Afganistan. It seems like we are all in a part of our lives where we are very busy most of the time. Some are in new houses so time and money are spent there, one's in med school, and some have jobs that have them working weekends. Once Mike (e.c.) returns, more trips will be planned.

Some local wheeling spots are Livingston, Slade, a new spot in Harlan, and the new offroad park in the eastern part of the state, Kentucky Outback Adventure Park. They're not really local for us (I live in NKY) as it's at least a 2 hour drive to the closest one.

How are you liking it so far? Aren't you working the graveyard shift or some ridiculous hours right now? I didn't even think you'd be right over there. About a 35 minute drive for you then.
I was on third in Atlanta for the two weeks - here in cincy I am first shift for the next 2 weeks, then a week of 2nd shift, then a week of 3rd, then whatever they want me to do after that!

I would be interested in wheelin anytime....I live in Bethel which is like 25 minutes from Eastgate so Im fairly close.I have a buddy that has a 80 acre farm we have been creating trails on for the last few years.A few places are around here that are privatly owned trails.I dunno how hard you like to wheel but a few guys around here have some bad ass Yota pickups that they wheel at a local farm and well.....those trails are rough!Me and my buddy think our trucks could make it through alot of the trails other then spots where being locked is essential.Let me know if you get anyone interested.
Thanks

look up Wellsville, OH, near East Liverpool, it's about 800 acres owned by 5 different people, one of the owners charges $5.00 a day for the use of his land & campground but the other owners don't charge. It is rough terrain I would not go there without having at least 2 or 3 other vehicles with me and a good guide. I've been there a few times with my brother in laws jeep buddies and it is awesome.
